Scaling limit behavior of the dimer model
Marianna Russkikh, Scott Johnson Postdoctoral Scholar Teaching Fellow, Mathematics, Caltech,

The dimer model is one of the best-known models of statistical physics, first introduced to model a diatomic gas. Such models can be used to represent many other statistical physics systems, including the famous Ising model of ferromagnetism. In this talk, we discuss some scaling limit phenomena of the dimer model.
