Professor Preskill Named Aisenstadt Chair

John Preskill, Richard P. Feynman Professor of Theoretical Physics, has been named the 2011 Aisenstadt Chair at the Center de Recherches Mathe'matiques (CRM) in Montreal. The Chair recipient gives a series of lectures, the first of which must be accessible to a large public. Preskill will lecture on quantum information at CRM this October. Among past Aisenstadt Chair recipients are many world-famous mathematicians, including eight of the last eighteen Fields medalists. [List of Recipients]
